What does the season look like for you?
We have a couple of meets left for our indoor season but will soon be gearing up for our outdoor season.
What events do you compete in during your meets?
Shotput and discus.
How does being on a team help you as a person & if you could describe your team with one word what would it be and why?
I think being on a team helps my collaborative skills grow and also helps me become a better leader. I would use the word grit to describe our team because through all the ups and downs we stay focused on getting better.
Which strengths do you believe you have that make you a great athlete?
I believe that my biggest strength is a commitment to getting better.
What song gets you hyped up before you meet?
The song that gets me hype often changes over time but one song that will always be in my rotation is Lifestyle by Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan.
What professional thrower do you look up to and why?
One thrower that I admire is Ryan Crouser. The thing I love most about him is his technique. It’s so smooth and seemingly effortless.
What challenges have you faced that most people wouldn’t expect? How do you overcome them?
One of my biggest challenges has been to translate my strength into my throws.
